The Manual

Requests a Regular Line schedule with consecutive days of work different from the default range of 1-6 days. The first number is the shortest WORK BLOCK you will accept the second number is the longest WORK BLOCK you will accept.

Recent Observation (unofficial) : The system appears to be allowing pilots to bid work blocks shorter that an awarded CQT work block and solve with the pilots work block request for all additional awarded duty work blocks.

We have seen this with Reserve Awards and do not know if it applies to Line Holders ,

Caution

Do NOT bid this property in the lowest layer of the bid.

CQT or other duty are part of a work block and will limit the amount of work (Reserve or Line Holder) that can be awarded adjacent to the CQT or Other Duty.

Strategy

Remember work block does not equal pairing length

The pairings you bif must fit in the work blocks you bid. A 3 day work block wont hold a 4 day pairing.

Remember Line Properties only help determine which of and how your bid pairings are placed on your monthly line.
