You must bid weekends off on the big calendar for this to work correctly.

Consider the Days Off Tab as the tie Breaker Tab. It should choose an award solution that allows the greatest string of days off your seniority can hold.
While it is acceptable to bid multiple Days Off properties in the same layer it is generally not considered effective. Note: the Priority Property below. If you bid Maximize Total Days off and Maximize Weekends Off in the same layer. Maximize Total days will take priority potentially yielding zero weekends off.
Each of Days Off Property has an assigned System Priority to allow the System to prioritize if multiple Days Off Properties are bid in the same layer.

Caution
Bid weekends off on the Monthly (Big) Calendar in a higher layer before bidding this property to enable proper optimization during award process.
Do not bid in the same Layer:
They all share the same priority (2) and the system will not which one to use.

All Days Off properties are similar in nature and affect line construction, each has an assigned System Priority to allow the System to prioritize multiple properties that are bid in the same layer.
