Requests or allows PBS to build a Regular Line that contains two pairings where the release of the 1st pairing and the report of the 2nd are on the same calendar day. These pairings are NOT separated by legal rest but they can be flown within contractual and FAR limits.
- Turns two pairings into one long pairing.
- Time Constraints (between1st pairing release and 2nd pairing report)
- Minimum Following Domestic Termination 1:15 hrs
- Minimum Following International Termination 1:30 hrs
- Maximum Following Termination 5:00 hrs (not in manual)
- May not exceed regulatory, contractual flight and duty time limits
- Double-Up Flight Duty Period (buffers)
- Double-Up Flight Duty Period: Reduced by 30 min..
- Double-Up Flight Time (buffers)
- Double-Up Flight Time: Reduces by 45 min
- Double-Up Flight Time: 35 hours in 7 days
Bidliner Insight
- We suspect it is easier for this to be awarded if the pairings are in the same layer.
- Pay for the new combined pairing will be the sum of the original two pairings.
- Allow double Up is a persistent property which will automatically repeat in lower layers unless Clear Bid is entered.
