Sharpshooting Method for bidding

Learn our favorite (and most effective) bidding strategy called the Sharpshooting Method.

The quick summery of this method is this:

Use the BidGrid tool to determine what you can hold. From that group bid the BEST of what you can hold specifically. Then in the next layer bid the REST of what you can hold generically. Repeat!

Now, here's a little more detailed outline of what those steps would look like.

Using the BidGrid tool:

First, make a practice bid in our BidGrid tool to find what you can hold.

Refine your practice bid properties so it yields between 10 to 30 pairings going junior to you.

Search those specific practice bid pairings and find your favorites.

Tag your favorites that you'd like to bid specifically. We recommend you tag between 10 to 30.

Now in PBS:

In Layer 1 - Take your BidGrid layer 1 criteria and bid the best of those pairings specifically.

In Layer 2 - Now bid that layer 1 criteria generically.

In Layer 3 - Take your BidGrid layer 2 criteria and bid the best of those pairings specifically.

In Layer 4 - Now bid that layer 2 criteria generically.

In Layer 5 - Take your BidGrid layer 3 criteria and bid the best of those pairings specifically.

In Layer 6 - Now bid that layer 3 criteria generically. Bid at least 100 unique pairings that BidGrid says may go junior to you.

In Layer 7 - Use as a backup with very relaxed criteria.
